How does fare estimation work?
The calculator uses OSRM route data, which means distance and estimated ride duration are based on real road networks, not random assumptions. After entering pickup and destination, the system geocodes both addresses, fetches the route, and then calculates estimated cost. This gives users a clearer and more realistic pre-booking overview.
Start price and included ride segment are automatically loaded from the active pricing configuration. After the included segment, extra kilometers and minutes are charged by the active tariff. Day tariff applies in standard hours, while night - Sunday - holiday tariff includes a +30% increase. This keeps fare logic transparent without manual calculations.
For routes longer than 50 km, the calculator does not show a final automatic fare and instead suggests direct contact for an individual offer. Longer rides often include specific conditions, waiting time, or special requests that cannot be accurately represented by a single universal model. This keeps estimates fair and transparent while allowing confirmed pricing before booking.
